Closely related to the preceding Tip, is the competent sharing of detail and outcomes from meetings with customer or client representatives.
Capturing / documenting findings in detail is, logically, the first step in this process. It’s hard to share a few skeletal key points based on someone’s overarching memory of a conversation that might have taken place days, weeks or months beforehand.
Next, those findings should be shared in a well-planned and structured briefing session with a strategically selected team from within the bidder’s organisation. This allows questions to be asked and captured notations to be fleshed out in the numerous different contexts that may be necessary.
